 The Allen-Bradley 2711P-RP is a PanelView Plus and PanelView Plus CE Logic module. This Logic module is compatible for installation with PanelView Plus 700-1500 and PanelView Plus CE 700-1500 Graphic Operator terminals. This logic does not contain Flash and Random Access Memory (RAM) modules which means, user may need to separately purchase these memory modules or use memory modules of existing PanelView Plus terminal’s logic module.

This logic module is powered by a nominal input supply voltage of 24VDC with range of 18-30VDC. It is compatible for installation of RAM modules such as 2711P-RR64 64 MB SODIMM RAM; 2711P-RR128 128 MB SODIMM RAM and 2711P-RR256 6 256 MB SODIMM RAM while compatible internal compact flash cards include 2711P-RW1 1 64 MB internal CompactFlash with FactoryTalk View ME software for PanelView Plus logic modules; 2711P-RW2 128 MB internal CompactFlash with FactoryTalk View ME software for PanelView Plus logic modules; 2711P-RW3 256 MB internal CompactFlash with FactoryTalk View ME software for PanelView Plus logic modules; 2711P-RW6 128 MB internal CompactFlash with FactoryTalk View ME software for PanelView Plus CE logic modules; 2711P-RW7 256 MB internal CompactFlash with FactoryTalk View ME software for PanelView Plus CE logic modules and 2711P-RW8 512 MB internal CompactFlash with FactoryTalk View ME software for PanelView Plus CE logic modules.

This logic module hosts the electronic circuitries which include the terminal power supply circuit, communication ports, terminal processor and embedded software applications such as Windows CE for PanelView Plus CE terminals and FactoryTalk Machine Edition Runtime software. Hosting the electronic circuitries, this logic module cannot be used installed when terminal is supplied with power and requires electrostatic discharge protection during installation.

This 2711P-RP PanelView Plus is a module without a flash memory or a RAM but it has power between 18 and 32V DC. The Allen-Bradley 2711P-RP PanelView Plus runs on a Windows CE 6.0 and its runtime software is version 6.0. The standard available features are third-party support device, ActiveX controls, an FTP server connection, and a PDF reader. The 2711P-RP can use the MS Office suite. Make sure that the 2711P-RP PanelView Plus components are compatible before replacing the internal compact flash.
